Vida Mountain Costa Rica

It’s now 5 months since we were last here. Our mission last time was to create trails and meditation walkways, magic places for adventures – physical, spiritual, mental and emotional - through the beautiful mountain countryside around and below the Vida Mountain resort here in Costa Rica. After much trigonometry, planning of gradients and following of the energy lines, the beautiful, magical paths through nature were created. Now we return to add the finishing touches with awe inspiring bird lookouts, the Stone Circle of Possibility, the Labyrinth of Creation, viewpoints for Vision, Consciousness, Tranquillity, Transcendence and Harmony, shelters of Transition and Revitalisation and many other magical places along the way.
The trails are graded as for ski slopes: green - very easy, blue - gentle, then red – challenging, followed by double red – not for the feint hearted. We are working, as last time, closely with the local people so that the vision, purpose and creation of these magical spaces are owned by all creating them. We are having great adventures choosing the right natural materials – organic step ways on blue trails, canopy shelters and seats, guided by those who have intricate knowledge of the natural land here. We areevolving the skills of how to level paths and use rocks to create stability, how to make steps that will last and how to build natural shelters using trees and existing materials. Working closely with the local people, we are certifying and qualifying them as outdoor adventure and trail guides through lifecollege.org Day one and Ian (who has created all the trails and walkways) was up before dawn and out with two local men, Zavier and Carlos, at first light. They walked the trails and Ian showed them those that have become hidden and overgrown in the five months since our last visit. The grass is very different now, long, lush and green, whereas before it was dead and brown. By the end of the day our two local heroes have done a magnificent job clearing the grass from all of the trails. |

At close of work at 3pm, Ian and I venture out to walk the freshly cleared trials and the magic begins immediately as we spot two beautiful toucans at close range. They pause in a tree, allowing us to focus our binoculars and get a really good look at these fabulous, brilliantly coloured birds. Next we see a bird of prey – a swallow tailed kite, unmistakable with its forked tail, hunting over the hills. We begin at the ‘All Ways’ Tree and follow blue trails and then reds, savouring the beautiful energy and confirming where there will be covered areas of Transition and Revitalisation, Awe Inspiring bird watching areas, Vision, Consciousness, Tranquillity, Transcendence and Harmony seating areas and look outs and, of course, the especially magicalised areas where ALL will be made possible and available for guests of Vida Mountain. Magical rocks, the amazing Stone Circle of Possibility, the Magic trees and, of course, the very special Labyrinth of Creation! I am excited to be starting my pipossibility work magicalising and energising, bringing in and sparking up the very special energy of these different essence points along the trails and walkways.
The magic continues throughout the whole of this wonderful first walk. Exquisite butterflies, a myriad of birds, little lizards and a wonderful pure, clear, crystal energy. A fabulous first day back on the Vida Mountain trails.
